About Us

Jerry Connolly - Composer, Guitarist

Jerry began guitar instruction at age 10 and continued his studies in college, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music. He has been involved in music ministry since high school. Jerry is married with four adult children and is retired from a career in special education. He enjoys everything outdoors including camping, hiking, snowshoeing and rock climbing.

Andy Perron - Vocalist

Andy was raised in the Wishkah Valley of Aberdeen WA and began singing with his parents at St Mary’s Catholic Church at the age of 7. When he was 10, he suffered the untimely death of his father to a logging accident. Being the 5th of 10 children at that time, he followed the path that society had mapped out, until the Father called him back to the church in 1998 and he has been singing with Jerry and others since.

A grateful husband going on 36 years, an earthly father of two amazing kids for the last 34, and a dedicated employee at the postal service for more than 30. Loves his mother and his 18 siblings.

God is good all the time!

Michael Connolly - Vocalist

Michael grew up singing and playing percussion, eventually leading to his Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Central Washington University. He currently sings with Resonate, a semi-professional acapella eight voice mixed choir in Maple Valley, WA.

About the Compositions

Jerry began composing psalm settings around 2005 while leading contemporary worship at St. Andrew Church in Ellensburg, Washington.  The music is attentive to the message, emotion, rhythm and flow of the text.  The lyrics of the refrain and verses are faithful to scriptural text as presented in the Catholic lectionary and are fully approved by the U.S.C.C.B (US Conference of Catholic Bishops) and I.C.E.L (International Commission on English in the Liturgy).

About the Recordings

Jerry records, edits and mixes the recordings in his home studio.  The recordings are simple yet carefully crafted to communicate a suggested instrumental style, including rhythmic character, while highlighting the sung melody.  The instrumentation is very similar from one recording to another.  Vocals and guitar are the only live instruments.  The other instruments (string bass, piano, synth pad, and an occasional glockenspiel) are all software synthesized.  These arrangements serve equally well as an audio tutorial for singers and musicians or as an aide to prayer and contemplation.
